The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who escaped from a local halfway house last week, Sgt. Aaron Shatto said Wednesday.

The Sheriff's Office responded to a call at 5:45 p.m. Sept 23 from the Casper Re-Entry Center about a missing inmate, Shatto said.

CRC officials said Tommy Watkins had checked out at 10 a.m. to go to work, but did not return, Shatto said.

Watkins was sentenced out of Campbell County on a forgery conviction in 2013, and was admitted to the CRC, 10007 Landmark Lane, on July 7, 2015, Shatto said.

Watkins, 33, is described as 6-feet tall and weighing 170 pounds, according to the U.S. Marshals Wyoming Fugitive taskforce Facebook website Wyoming's Most Wanted.

If you have any information about Watkins, please call the sheriff's office at (307) 235-9300, Crime Stoppers silent witness program at (307) 577-TIPS (8477), or the U.S. Marshals Service at (307) 772-2196.
