Last week, Seether announced Poison the Parish, their seventh studio effort which will be released on May 12. The hard rock vets wasted no time, laying out their plans to support the record with a massive headlining U.S. tour. They've also made a name addition to their live lineup.

The trek will feature a slew of festival dates throughout the routing, kicking things off on April 29 at Fort Rock in Ft. Meyers, Fla., followed by Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Fla. The first part of the run will stretch to June 11, picking back up over one month later on July 15 at Chicago Open Air. This second half of the tour will find Seether on the road through Aug. 20 where they'll close it out in Houston, Texas.

Support will come from Letters From the Fire (May 2 through 27; July 16 through Aug. 20), Through Fire (June 1 through June 7), Kaleido (May 2 through June 10) and Big Story (from July 16 through August 20). All stops can be seen below and check listings carefully regarding support acts.

"Goddamn, it's good to be back!," exclaimed Seether singer Shaun Morgan. "We spent the better part of a year writing and recording Poison the Parish and now it's time to get out there and play that f--ker to the fans." He also mentioned the band will have a familiar rocker joining them onstage, adding, "We've been working on some upgrades to the production and the live sound, which includes welcoming our brother, Clint Lowery (from f--king Sevendust!) into the fold to help us thicken up that live sound experience."

"We want this tour to be exciting and different — a departure from what people expect from us, while retaining the qualities that make us unique, in order to entertain the fans. It's going to be loud, heavy, old school Seether with a couple of twists thrown in to keep things exciting," Morgan wrapped up.

Pre-orders for Poison the Parish can be placed at Seether's webstore or digitally through iTunes. Digital downloads will come with an instant gratification download of the new single, "Let You Down," which can be heard here.
