Saliva are ramping up to a new album and the band is teaming with Loudwire to exclusively premiere their new single 'Rise Up' from the disc of the same name.

It's fitting that the band has chosen a raised fist for the artwork for their 'Rise Up' single as the song itself is as anthemic as they come. The group hit their power grooves with precision while new vocalist Bobby Amaru delivers the motivational kick in the pants needed to drive home the point with the 'Rise Up' lyrics.

Guitarist Wayne Swinny says, "'Rise Up' … it's a statement on where we're at. The title just has that fire to it." The song is filled with plenty of swagger and hard driving guitars sure to connect with hard rock fans. This track, along with new cuts like 'Choke' and 'Redneck Freakshow,' should keep fans rocking for quite some time.

The 'Rise Up' album is currently on schedule for an April 29 release through Rum Bum Records, and the band is ready to hit the road for what promises to be a rocking album cycle. The itinerary is starting to fill up, with a trek that launches Feb. 28 in Daytona Beach, Fla. and shows currently spanning into early May.
