Report of Shot Fired in Northeast Cheyenne
The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of a shooting in northeast Cheyenne this (Sunday) morning.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Capt. Linda Gesell says deputies were called to the 7600 block of Braehill Road around 12:45 a.m. after residents reported hearing car doors open and what they thought was a gunshot coming from an older-model, gray Lincoln MKX.
Gesell says the reporting party thought their cat had been shot, but -- as of now -- there's no evidence to suggest any shots were fired.
We will update this story as more information becomes available.
