If a new report is to be believed, Casper is less sinful than Cheyenne. Barely.

This new study comes courtesy of WalletHub. They named the most sinful cities in America. Good news is that no city in Wyoming even makes the top 100. Check out the national map.

WalletHub's methodology is interesting. Cities are ranked as more or less sinful based on the following metrics:

  • Anger and hatred
  • Jealousy
  • Excesses and vices
  • Greed
  • Lust
  • Vanity
  • Laziness

If you look at Casper, you'll see that we come in at #141. In this case, the lower you rank the less sinful you are. Cheyenne clocks in at a very lustful #121.

The breakdown of what makes a city sinful is hilarious by WalletHub's measure. For example, a city is considered vain if it has lots of beauty salons and barber shops. Awesome.
