Police ID Suspected Accomplice in Colo. 4/20 Shooting
DENVER (AP) — Denver police have interviewed a man wanted in connection with a shooting at a weekend marijuana celebration that wounded two.
But police said they have still made no arrests and continue to look for the shooter. The possible accomplice they interviewed Monday was shown in a video posted on YouTube. He voluntarily came in after police urged the public to watch the video.
A police spokesman did not explain why they did not arrest the man. Lt. Sonny Jackson only said the man gave detectives information and the investigation is continuing.
The shooting occurred at the end of the first annual 4/20 rally in Civic Center Park since Colorado legalized marijuana use in last year's elections. The event regularly attracts tens of thousands of pot smokers to downtown Denver.
