Now having completed five successful years, the annual Dimebash concert saw a wealth of heavy metal legends come together onstage to celebrate the life and career of guitar legend Dimebag Darrell. With Philip Anselmo taking front and center for most of the night, he was joined by a revolving cast as they tore through some Pantera classics and blistering version of Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" in tribute to the late Lemmy Kilmister.

Dimebash was held at Lucky Strike Live in Hollywood, Calif. last night (Jan. 22) and no salute to the late guitarist would be complete without performing the Pantera anthem "Walk." Backing Anselmo for the rendition (video above) was Pantera bassist Rex Brown, Dave Grohl on guitar, Slayer's Paul Bostaph behind the kit and more. The crowd was intimate but raucous as they witnessed two of Pantera's members play some of metal's most beloved songs.

The celebration continued with the metal collective paying homage to rock 'n' roll icon Lemmy Kilmister. The outpouring has been incessant since his death on Dec. 28 and the band asked everyone to play Lemmy's music loud after announcing his passing and the message has been driven home once again. The lineup behind the "Ace of Spades" performance (video below) consisted of Anselmo, Grohl, Metallica's Robert Trujillo, former Slayer and current Dead Cross legend Dave Lombardo on drums. Grohl lets loose as he rips through the solo, gritting his teeth and letting his hair fly.

Proceeds from Dimebash will benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund.
