No-Budget Music Videos Are Sometimes The Best

Don't get me wrong, I love a wacky, high budget music video with dinosaurs and interstellar travel and all the crazy stuff. Problem is, there are tons of killer bands out there who don't have a million dollars to throw at a video. That's when things can get real weird..

This is a band out of Brooklyn NY called The Giraffes. They are one of my absolute favorite bands ever in the history of all-time to infinity. I love this band. They describe the sound as "Brooklyn Sex Metal" and who wouldn't listen to something as cool sounding as that? Damien Paris is a rad guitarist with a real cool surf style that's tough to beat. The song is called Man U, and it's a funny little ode to soccer hooliganism everywhere. The video itself is a one shot, one angle, zero edits affair. I hope they got it right the first shot. Could you imagine being punched in the stomach that many times only to find out the shot didn't work?
