My Archery Elk Trip Into Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness
This past week, I got the opportunity to do something I have been wanting to do since I was a kid. I got to go on an epic adventure into the beautiful Bob Marshall wilderness. Armed with an elk tag, archery equipment, a fun hunting partner and a team of mules and horses, I went on an adventure that many can only dream of.
With weather ranging from snow, to sun, to hurricane force winds, I could not have asked for a better trip. Unless that involved bringing home an elk. Even though I didn't get an opportunity to fill my elk tag, I was entertained thoroughly by the mesmerizing sound of bugling bull elk and gorgeous scenery.
Check out some of my photos from my adventure into Montana's backcountry
