Medicine, ‘Long as the Sun’ [Listen]

For the first time in 18 years, veteran L.A. noise-rock greats Medicine have reunited their original lineup of Brad Laner, Jim Goodall and Beth Thompson. The trio is readying the release of a brand-new album, ‘To the Happy Few,’ and now we have the first taste, a single called ‘Long as the Sun.’

Following a long hiatus, Medicine made a brief comeback in 2003 with ‘The Mechanical Forces of Love,’ recorded by the duo of Laner and Bruce Lee’s daughter Shannon Lee. Their new record is due out on Aug. 6 via Captured Tracks, the label behind last year's deluxe reissues of the group's back catalog.
