Some fans know that May the Fourth holds a certain special meaning; it's a time for all things Star Wars, and the Natrona County Library is hosting a variety of events around the celebration. starting with a Star Wars Retro Video Game Tournament May 3rd. It will feature Star Wars Battlefront II on Xbox for all ages. It starts at 6:00 p.m. and "gamers will battle in conquest mode while working their way through a double-elimination bracket," according to the Libary. Winners get a voucher worth an hour of virtual reality gameplay with the HTC Vive, provided by the Library Foundation. Snacks will also be provided.
On the actual May the Fourth Star Wars Day Celebration, the Library will host Star Wars Storytime at 10:30  a.m. for kids of all ages. You're invited to wear your Star Wars costumes and attire.
From noon until 3:00 p.m., the Library will host a virtual reality experience letting you wield a light saber and battle storm troopers in a seven-minute VR adventure. It is free and open to the public, and tickets will be handed out at the beginning on a first-come, first-served basis.
Finally, you can drop by the library anytime between 4:00 p.m.and 8:00 p.m. to celebrate Star Wars Day and the Art Walk.
There will be a wide range of events from crafts and trivia, to Star Wars Selfies and Jedi Training Camp. The Library explains more:
 "A variety of activities and crafts for all ages will be offered including galaxy ornaments, string art, thumbprint doodle buttons, bubble wands, sidewalk chalk, and Jedi Training Camp. Star Wars trivia will be held for adults with questions taken from characters, planets, species, and events relating to Episodes I-VII and Rogue One. Three 30-minute sessions will be held, and three trivia winners will receive a $35 Amazon gift card. Four selfie stations and five Snapchat filters will also be available for Star Wars fans to use, and various Star Wars characters, played by Dream Upon a Princes staff, will be at the library available for photos. Attendees are encouraged to don Star Wars attire or come dressed as a Star Wars character."
