Born into religious family (both his grandfather and father were Baptist Pastors), Martin Luther King Jr. spent his life helping others. Receiving the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 35, (the youngest ever), Mr. King donated the prize money of $54,123 to the furtherance of the civil rights movement. We lost Martin Luther King Jr. to an assassin on the evening of April 4th, 1968. He may be gone, but his contribution to civil rights and equality make him one of the greatest Americans ever.
