Man Requests More Jail Time To Spend Time With Stepdad

It’s refreshing to see a teen get along so well with his stepdad. Justin Beynen, 18, requested more jail time just so he could spend extra time with his stepfather cellmate! Beynen, of Ontario, Canada, was convicted of a string of charges and got six months in the clink. But he asked for nine months, explaining to the judge that he has nowhere to stay when he gets out of jail until his 25-year-old stepdad is released in October. The court granted his request – it’s not every day a criminal wants a longer sentence! Let the behind-bars bonding time begin!
