It is that time of year again when the law enforcement agencies across the county rally together for the annual "Shop With A Cop" event.

The Casper Police Department, Natrona County Sheriff’s Office, Evansville and Mills Police Departments welcome the opportunity to work with families in our community, especially those with underprivileged children who may not have the same opportunities as other children. The law enforcement agencies will be working in partnership with both Casper Walmart locations, giving children ages three (3) through twelve (12) a chance to shop with a law enforcement officer for holiday gifts, including gifts for themselves and other family members.

The Casper Police Department shared the photo to their official Facebook page along with a message that read:

We're gearing up for Shop with a Cop 2019!

Shop with a Cop is a combined community outreach effort with local Natrona County law enforcement to serve underprivileged children who may not have the same opportunities as other children. This event is one of the many ways we are striving to strengthen our community and reach out to these families.

In partnership with both Casper Walmart stores, children in need are able to purchase gifts for the holiday season.

Application deadline is November 22nd, 2019.

Selected families will be notified beginning the week of December 2nd, 2019. Shop with a Cop will be held on December 7th and 8th 2019.
