A man wanted in connection to an April incident in which a pickup was stolen from a Cheyenne business and set on fire is now behind bars.

According to arrest records, the Laramie County Sheriff's Office picked up 24-year-old Derek K. Turman, Jr. in the 200 block of Country West Road around 4 p.m. Friday.

Turman -- who's accused of stealing a 2000 Ford F-250 from Capital City Landscaping, driving it through multiple fences and setting it on fire -- was being sought on felony warrants for burglary, arson, property destruction and theft.

Turman is currently being held in the Laramie County Jail on a $5,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
