Killswitch Engage are rocking as strong as ever with frontman Jesse Leach returning to the band, but the seeds of the reunion may have been planted much sooner with guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz playing with Leach in the band Times of Grace. With Killswitch returning in a major way, Leach has addressed the status of his and Dutkiewicz's other band in a new Q&A video he's posted online.

Leach stated, “Obviously right now it’s on a pretty big hiatus because of Killswitch. But we’re definitely moving forward with it. I know that there were about three songs that Adam said he’s got in the works, which I believe were leaning towards the more acoustic-y, bluesy side of things."

The vocalist went on to add, "We talked about moving forward and doing that [style] -- sort of getting away from the typical sound that people expect from us, and pushing ourselves in a different direction. So maybe do some acoustic-y stuff, and then do some more… songs like 'End of Eternity' or 'End of Days' where it’s a little more epic and slower with post metal undertones to it."

He concludes, "The future is unwritten with that project, but it’s still something that Adam [and I] have in our hearts and our minds.” So there you have it. While nothing is imminently pending, Times of Grace are still something very much on the mind of the two Killswitch Engage rockers.

Leach's full video, in which he also addresses such topics as his favorite song, what he'd be doing if he wasn't working in music, his vocal warm up technique and his keys to success among others, can be seen above. If you want to see Leach speak about Times of Grace, go to the 4:45 mark of the video.

Times of Grace released their only album, 'The Hymn of a Broken Man,' back in 2011.
