It’s the first full Sunday of the 2012 NFL season. While millions of fans are busy watching giant-sized men beat each other to near-death without the threat of criminal prosecution, we’ll be focusing on the NFL’s hot sideline reporters, like Tony Siragusa, who always looks like he is wearing a pelt Jaime Maggio.

Beautiful and blonde, Jaime Maggio is a sports reporter for Fox Sports West, the NFL Network, the NFL on FOX, the MLB on TBS and more sports events. Maggio also served as a sports anchor for KCBS and KCAL. Prior to her career in sports reporting, Maggio played softball at Mary Star of the Sea High School and earned a communications degree at UC Santa Barbara.

On the first Sunday of the 2012 NFL season, Maggio will be busy patrolling the sidelines of the St. Louis Rams — Detroit Lions game from Ford Field in Detroit. Since the Lions are nine-point favorites, Maggio may spend a lot of time with Rams’ coach Jeff Fisher, who may be sobbing on her shoulder by halftime.

If Fisher had any sense, he’d position Maggio in the direct line of sight of the Lions’ offensive line and then blitz Matthew Stafford like hell. Vince Lombardi would do it; he’d also be sporting a serious first-down marker, too.
