Wyoming Polls Open Tuesday From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For Election Day 2024

Laramie County polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5 for the 2024 General Election.

Laramie County, unlike many other Wyoming counties, allows voters to cast ballots at the voting center of their choice.

Here is the list of voting centers:

- David R Romero Park, 1317 Parsley Blvd

- Storey Gym, 2811 House Ave

- Kiwanis Community House, 4603 Lions Park Dr

- North Christian Church, 2015 Tranquility Rd

- LCCC, Center for Conferences & Institutes, 1400 E College Dr

- Event Center at Archer, 3801 Archer Pkwy

- Pine Bluffs Community Center, 708 Lawson St

Voter ID Required

Voters will be required to present identification to cast a ballot. The following forms of identification will be accepted:

• Wyoming Driver’s License or Wyoming Identification Card
• Tribal ID Card
• Valid U.S. Passport
• U.S. Military Card
• DL or ID Card from Another State
• University of Wyoming Student ID
• Wyoming Community College Student ID
• Wyoming Public School Student ID
• Valid Medicare Insurance Card
• Valid Medicaid Insurance Card
• Valid Wyoming Concealed Firearm Permit

People who are not registered to vote can do so on election day.

Local offices on the ballot include 6 seats on the Cheyenne City Council as well as Mayor of Cheyenne, were incumbent Mayor Patrick Collins is running for a second term. Collins faces a rematch with Rick Coppinger, the candidate whom he defeated for the office in 2020. Coppinger finished second to Collins in this year's August 20 primary election.

There are four candidates for two City Council seats each in Wards I and II. In those wards several candidates ran in the primary, with the top four advancing to the General Election. But in Ward III only three candidates filed to run. They include incumbents Richard Johnson and Michelle Aldrich. They are being challenged by Mark Moody, and two of those tree will win seats on the council.

Several legislative races are also on the local election ballot.
