Hillsdale Man Arrested For Stealing 21 Semi Tires From Fat Boys
A Hillsdale man was arrested last week for allegedly stealing semi tires from the Fat Boys store on Allison Road.
That's according to a post on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
According to the post, the investigation started on August 20 when deputies were called out to a larceny report at Fat Boy Tires on East Allison Road. Deputies were told that 21 semi tires had been stolen.
The Crime Was Caught On Camera
The whole thing was caught on camera, and a license plate number was seen in the video.
The plates came back to Jeremy Fox of Hillsdale. Deputies found out where Fox had been staying and drove by the property. They saw Fox there and a stack of tires against a workshop.
Deputies got a search warrant for the property. When investigators got there, they found out that Fox was hiding underneath the floor of the trailer after having used a hatch.
Deputies ordered Fox to come out. He refused at first, but changed his mind after hearing that a Taser 10 was being turned on. He came out of hiding and surrendered without further incident.
According to the post, a search of the property turned up all 21 tires that had been reported as stolen. A Fat Boys employee was also able to identify wheels and tires that are believed to have been taken from the East Lincolnway Fat Boys.
The post also thanks the Cheyenne Police Department for sending a K9 to help with the investigation.
