
Cheyenne-Area Law Enforcement Agencies Working To Return Stolen Items
The Cheyenne Police Department and Laramie County Sheriff's Office are working to return property stolen from storage units to their rightful owners.
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department and Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook pages.

The search for the property owners comes after the recent arrest of a suspect who was driving a U-Haul truck with a large amount of stolen property inside.
According to the post, detectives think at least some of the property belongs to people who rented storage space Diamond Storage and KO Storage.
People Renting Storage Units Should Check For Missing Items
The post goes on to say:
"If you rent from either of these locations, or a nearby storage facility, we encourage you to check your unit to see if anything is missing. If you believe you may be a victim, please contact the appropriate investigator:
• Diamond Storage (within city limits): Contact Detective Campolong with the Cheyenne Police Department at (307) 773‐1056.
• KO Storage (in Laramie County): Contact Detective DePrimo with the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office at (307) 633-4732."
25-year-old Camden Girone was stopped early Friday morning near East 10th and Converse Avenue when a police officer saw a U-Haul truck pull over to stop without using a turn signal. Girone was driving the truck at the time
According to the post "Officers searched the U-Haul and located two firearms, electronic devices, tools, bolt cutters, a grinder, and containers holding a substance believed to be methamphetamine. During the search, officers also found broken locks in Girone’s back pocket. He later told officers that he had broken into two storage units and took several items, including the firearms."
