Let's not hear any complaints about the weather of the past few days. We needed the wet. Some areas got a good amount of rain, and some parts of Wyoming even got some light snow. It's about time.

As of 10/15/2026, that system is slowly moving out of our region, and dry Canadian air will be moving in. Very dry air.

Here, some clear skies and temperatures in the 70s for the next few days.

For those of you who wanted to go hunting, this is your chance. It will be perfect fall weather from Friday to Sunday.

Besides hunting, did you make any outdoor plans? NO? Well, MAKE THEM! This is going to be great. Here is what the official forecasts say.

The National Weather Service Cheyenne and Weather.com Cheyenne Forecast are predicting sunny skies, warming temperatures, and breezy conditions from Friday, October 16, through Sunday, October 18, 2026.

Friday, October 16: Widespread frost before 9:00 AM, then sunny and pleasant with a high near 54°F–56°F and an overnight low around 36°F.

Saturday, October 17: Mostly sunny and much warmer with a high near 70°F–72°F and an overnight low around 45°F–47°F.

Sunday, October 18: Partly cloudy and breezy with a high near 65°F and an overnight low around 39°F

If you are worried about Wyoming winds, which we usually see this time of year, that is another thing that you won't have to worry about. Expect some breezy conditions at times, but nothing like the horrid, howling winds that we all know will be coming at some point.

Have fun out there. Enjoy your weekend.
