State Spots, Seeds on the Line at 2026 Wyoming Regional Wrestling Championships
The 2026 high school wrestling postseason begins with the regional championships at eight sites in Wyoming this weekend. Regionals are on Friday, Feb. 20, and Saturday, Feb. 21, for the girls. All boys' regional action is taking place only on Friday, Feb. 20. Each boy’s class is split into East and West. The two girls’ regions are also East-West, but with several more teams competing.
2026 REGIONAL WRESTLING SCHEDULE FROM WYOPREPS
Wrestlers are trying to qualify for the state championships and earn as high a seed as possible. The state championships will be in Casper on February 26-28, 2026. We have linked to information for all eight sites. The cost to attend is $9.00 for adults and $6.00 for students for an all-session pass. Those prices are set by the WHSAA.
Girls
East Girls at Douglas
Teams = Buffalo, Burns/Pine Bluffs, Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Glenrock, H.E.M., Hulett, Laramie, Lingle-Ft. Laramie/Southeast, Lusk, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Rawlins, Saratoga, Sheridan, Sundance, Thunder Basin, Tongue River, Torrington, Upton, Wheatland, Wright.
The wrestling starts at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. It resumes at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Final Team Results: Sheridan won the East Regional with 163 team points. Thunder Basin took second, Cheyenne East was third, and Campbell County came in fourth.

Final Team Results: Star Valley won the Regional with 208 team points. Pinedale took 2nd, Green River was third, and Rock Springs held on for fourth.
