It is Week 4 in the 2026 Wyoming High School boys’ swimming and diving season. It features several medium-sized competitions. After a dual in Douglas on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday are packed with meets. Jackson hosts its two-day invitational with four teams heading to Teton County. There are three-team events in Casper, Gillette, and Sheridan on Friday, plus two five-team meets at Cody and Rock Springs.

Saturday also has swim invites at Evanston, Powell, and Sheridan. The schedule for Week 4 of the prep boys’ swimming and diving season in the Cowboy State is below. The schedule is subject to change.

Tuesday, Jan. 6:

Rawlins 135 Douglas 125 – dual

The Outlaws won only 5 events compared to 6 for the Bearcats, but Rawlins' depth gets it done. Nick Harvey and Abner Fleetwood won 2 individual events for Douglas.

Scores = KW 101 NC 60; East 98 NC 76; KW 97 East 70.

CODY QUAD – Cody, Newcastle, Powell, Riverton, Worland.

Teams Scores = Riverton 385, Cody 264, Powell 224, Worland 159, Newcastle 50

Newcastle's Gabe Hoover was the lone 2-event winner in the 200 IM and 100 Free.

GILLETTE  DOUBLE DUAL – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Thunder Basin.

Scores = Central 104 Thunder Basin 63; Central 105 Campbell County 60.

Campbell County's Brady Hunt and Cy Gallion won 2 individual events each.

JACKSON INVITE – Jackson, Kemmerer, Lander, Laramie, Sublette County.

ROCK SPRINGS INVITE – Evanston, Lyman, Green River, Rawlins, Rock Springs.

Team Scores = Green River 383, Evanston 320, Lyman 254, Rawlins 209, Rock Springs 206.

Lyman won 4 events, and Evanston and Green River won 3 each. Koen Asper of Rock Springs won two individual events (200 IM & 100 Breaststroke). 

SHERIDAN PRE-INVITE – Buffalo, Douglas, Sheridan.

Scores = Sheridan 79 Douglas 69; Buffalo 109 Sheridan 64; Buffalo 113 Douglas 52.

Buffalo's Quinn Byram and Sheridan's Ben Forsythe were the 2-event winners in the swim meet.

 

Saturday, Jan. 10:

Cheyenne Central 111 Campbell County 53 – dual

The Indians won 9 of the 12 events, including 2 by Chris Hager (200 IM & 100 Back). Brady Hunt of the Camels also won 2 events (50 & 100 Free).

EVANSTON INVITE at Davis MS – Evanston, Green River, Lyman, Rock Springs.

Team Scores = Evanston 327, Green River 315, Lyman 283, Rock Springs 210.

The Red Devils won 4 events, including 2 by Jacob Olson (200 IM & 500 Free). Lyman won 5 events.

GENE DOZAH INVITATIONAL at Powell – Buffalo, Cody, Newcastle, Powell, Riverton, Worland.

Team Scores = Riverton 317, Buffalo 309, Cody 224, Powell 179, Worland 127, Newcastle 36.

Buffalo won 6 of the 12 events. Riverton's Alex Jordan won the 200 IM and 100 Back. 

JACKSON INVITE – Jackson, Kemmerer, Lander, Laramie, Sublette County.

Team Scores = Lander 363, Laramie 362, Jackson 186, Sublette County 156, Kemmerer 172.

The Plainsmen won 6 events, and Lander won 3 events, but the Tigers' depth squeaked out a 1-point victory. Braden Rasmussen of Laramie won the 2 events (200 & 500 Free). Teammate Kelan Stakes also won 2 events (50 Free & 100 Fly). Carter Plaisted of Lander won 2, as well (200 IM & 100 Back).

SHERIDAN INVITE – Douglas, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Sheridan, Thunder Basin.

Team Scores = Kelly Walsh 378, Sheridan 350, Douglas 319, Natrona County 292, Thunder Basin 279.

The Broncs won 5 of the 12 events, which included 2 by Ben Forsythe (50 Free & 100 Breaststroke). Raidyn Young from NC also won 2 events (200 IM & 400 Free).
