To the majority of pet owners, our four-legged friends are more like actual family members, so losing one means a great deal to the entire household.

Recently, the Evansville Police Department found a lost dog and are urging the public's help in getting her back with her family.

The Evansville WY Police Department Facebook page shared a photo of pup along with a message that read:

FOUND DOG – EVANSVILLE

This older female dog was found in the middle of Lathrop Road in Evansville. She appears to be a senior and is very sweet. We are hoping to reunite her with her owner as soon as possible.

If you recognize her or believe she may be yours, please contact The Evansville Police Department at 307-235-8278 with identifying details.

Please share to help get her back home!

Being a pet owner and dog lover myself, I know the heartache of losing a pet. As a parent, it can be even more heart wrenching to the kiddos as well. Let's do our best to help reunite this beautiful canine with her owners.

Weirdest Creatures in the Cowboy State

Wyoming’s animals are wild and weird. Pronghorns rocket across the plains, bison casually block roads, and sage grouse strut around like they own the place. Coyotes, eagles, and mountain lions pop up out of nowhere, making it feel like the state is one big, unpredictable wildlife show.
