There's no denying that Casper, Wyoming has options when it comes to coffee. Honestly, the number of coffee shops here is enormous compared to the actual population. Between Casper, Mills, and Evansville, there are well over 50 spots to grab a cup of coffee.

With right around 70,000 people living here in the Casper area,  and that many coffee places, we're all well caffeinated. According to a report from John Hopkins Medicine, Casper has been preparing for the future of healthy living for quite some time.

The new study shows that over the course of 7 years, 170,000 people were followed and if they drank 1.5 to 3.5 cups of coffee per day, their life expectancy increased by 20%. That's great, right?

The study also revealed that higher levels of caffeine could help lower body fat and reduce risks of type 2 diabetes.

Other studies have also shown that caffeine has been linked to at lowering heart disease.

Obviously, everyone is different and are affected by things like caffeine differently and doctors say there could still be harmful effects if abused.

The FDA recommends 400 milligrams of caffeine per day and doctors should be consulted.
