Halloween 2025 hasn't just been one day; it's been a whole week of fun, events, and, of course, trick-or-treating for kids, parents, and those who love to dress up.

When I was a kid, I always hated it when Halloween fell on a school night. It wasn't as fun knowing you had to wake up for school the next morning, when all you wanted to do was lie around in your costume and eat all of your treats.

This year, kids had the chance to spend last weekend in costume, and since Halloween is on a Friday, they'll get to put on their costumes again and get more fuel. Since there were so many opportunities last weekend for trick-or-treating, you may think Friday will be lame, but if that's how you feel, you'd be wrong.

One of the coolest events happening on Halloween is at Casper/Natrona County's Hall of Justice, and at the fire station right after school from 3 - 5. My dad was a cop when I was growing up, and our favorite stop of the night was visiting the Police and Fire Stations. It's always fun to wear your cop or firefighter costume when visiting the Casper Police Department, Natrona County Sheriff's Office, and Casper Firefighters.

There are many events like the one at the Hall of Justice around Casper, including.

Sunrise Baptist Church

Sunrise Shopping Center

Fremont Honda

Hilltop Baptist Church

Lord of Lords Evangelical Lutheran Church

If you've been searching for places to take the kids, you've probably noticed Trick-or-Treating and Trunk-or-Treating events going on around town. I was a little confused, so I dove into the definition of both.

Trick-or-Treating - done at homes, and you walk from house to house.

Trunk-or-Treating - done in parking lots, and you walk from vehicle to vehicle collecting candy from the "trunk" of the car.
