Stuff the Van Toy Drive is in its 27th year. Started by former radio DJ and local business owner Donovan Short, the toy drive exemplifies the community spirit of Casper.

After moving from Alabama, Short introduced the concept of a local toy drive, all proceeds of which directly benefit the community. With Short now retired, the event is in the hands of Townsquare Media staff and logistics leads Jamie Purcell and Nicole Arner, both long-time Stuff the Van volunteers.

“Stuff the Van is a celebration of our diverse and kind community,” Jamie Purcell stated. “You see families served in the past through Stuff the Van, paying it forward, or children using their savings to help other children. You see grandparents whose families live overseas sharing the love right here and businesses challenging each other to step up and help. It’s a community effort to ensure Casper’s kids don’t go without.”

This year, Stuff the Van will be at Walmart East in Casper from December 16th - to December 21st, presented by Greiner Ford of Casper, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
