With the price of gas, groceries, utilities, and other monthly expenses rising, some Wyoming families may be wondering where their next meal is going to come from, and if you're in a pinch, Care For Wyoming is, well, here to help you make it through.

The site was launched to provide Wyomingites with information across many categories, such as food, clothing, jobs, and volunteer opportunities. To use the program, all you need to do is head to careforwyoming.org and search. It's very user-friendly, whether you're searching for items or offering services, products, or support to others in communities all over the state.

The new donation marketplace has recently launched a 'Live Pantry' feature on the app and website to make it easier for families who need immediate food assistance. There are neighborhood food pantries across the state to help families in a pinch find food for a quick meal, or to alert others that the pantry needs donations.

A general idea of some of the items you'll find in these pantries is nonperishable items like canned goods, boxed foods, easy-to-make meal ingredients, puddings, fruit cups, cereal, snacks, and canned meats.

The interactive map shows the pantry's location and current status.

  •  A blue dot shows a pantry in good standing, and a fresh donation drop has been made.
  • The yellow dot indicates the pantry is low and will need to be refilled soon.
  • A red dot means the pantry location is empty and invites those who are able to drop things off.

Currently, there are nearly 50 open pantry locations, and almost 30 food banks identified on the map across the state. If you'd like to find out more information, visit careforWyoming.org
