UW Golf Set to Host Cowgirl Classic in Arizona

LARAMIE -- The Cowgirl golfers return to action for the first time since March 12 hosting the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa, Ariz. on April 3-4.
The Wyoming Cowgirl Classic marks the fifth event of the spring for the Cowgirls, as UW will wrap up the regular season on April 9-10 at the Bobcat Classic before the Mountain West Championships take place April 16-18.
UW is led this season by Morgan Ryan. She has four top-25 finishes on the season and has a stroke average of 75.6. Jaden Gonzalez is second on the team at 75.7. She earned an event win at the SUU Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird in March. Kyla Wilde is averaging 76.1 stroke per round. She went 3-0 in match play to open the spring.
