“OMG, I am sorry for my sins…” The new way to clear your conscience is through your iPhone! The Catholic Church has officially approved a new app that helps people confess their sins and repent. It’s called – what else? – “Confession” and contains a “personalized examination of conscience for each user.” Catholics are taken step-by-step through the sacrament, which generally involves confessing sins to a priest in a confessional booth. The makers of the app are quick to point out that it’s not designed to replace going to confession, but instead guide believers through the process. Catholics must still see a priest for absolution. Or is it app-solution?
