Hate Hashtags? Then Watch This Video [NSFW VIDEO]

I'll admit that I don't understand the purpose of hashtags. When I was a kid, it was called the pound key, and it was one of two buttons that you never used on your phone. At one point, you would use the star key to *69 people, but that went away when caller ID came about.

For people like me, this video nails it. Random douchebags posting about some inane task they are currently undertaking - i.e. eating breakfast, going to the gym, slapping a midget - followed by a hashtag that only they are using...it makes no sense.

From now on, I'll be using the % sign. Well, at least until that gets annoying, too.
