Glenrock Named the 7th Best Place to Retire in Wyoming

How about some good news for a change? Glenrock just got called out by a national website as the 7th best place to retire.

HomeSnacks shared this good report on Glenrock based on bunches of criteria. Check out this laundry list of retirement pluses:

• Low cost of living as measured by rent
• Low crime
• Things to do (Museums, Colleges, and Libraries in town)
• Nice weather
• Distance to the closest international airport
• Other retirees (High median age)

Word of warning first. As you might have noticed by the metrics that HomeSnacks used to compile this list, many are very subjective. The good news is that whoever put this together obviously likes Glenrock.

Of note, Douglas also came in at #5 on this list, so props to them.

All of the towns on this list are small communities, so retirees must love that small town feel, huh?
