Disney's 'Frozen' is officially the most successful animated film of all time in terms of worldwide box office numbers. The movie's signature song 'Let It Go' has captured the imagination of millions, including Pearl Jam, who recently covered the track live in concert. The song's reach even extends into the heavy metal world, as evidenced by the guitar cover above, which has amassed just under 5 million views as of this posting.

'Frozen' is part of an elite group of films which have grossed more than a billion dollars at the box office. On top of that, 'Let it Go' won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

With universal acclaim comes universal appeal, and when a song such as 'Let it Go' makes it all the way into the metal realm, the word "universal" really does hold true.

Guitarist Eric Calderone has become an online giant with his shredding videos and song re-imaginings. The dude even won the 'Dimebag Darrell Shredder' Award at Metal Hammer's 2013 Golden Gods Awards. In what's become one of Calderone's most popular YouTube videos, his metal version of 'Let It Go' absolutely rips.

Check out Eric Calderone's metal cover of 'Let it Go' in the clip above. You won't be disappointed.
