Former New York Jet Misspells ‘Jets’ While Announcing The Team’s Draft Pick
If you're not a New York Jets fan, you may not be familiar with the team's chant. It's pretty simple. And it goes like this:
"J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!"
Spelled out once, repeated three times. Got it. But one person who somehow managed to screw up the spelling of the four-letter team was former Jets fullback Tony Richardson. When he came to the podium to announce the Jets' next pick, he went a little off script.
"With the 79th pick in the 2017 NFL draft, the New York J-E-T-E select..."
That's right. He misspelled Jets. C'mon man!
