Firemen Save Plastic Swan

Here’s a different take on Swan Lake. Firefighters attempted a dangerous rescue in Germany the other night to save a swan stuck in a frozen pond…only to discover it was fake. Concerned passers-by had dialed an emergency number when they spotted the swan, and a total of 25 firefighters braved the thin ice to reach the bird. When they finally got to the middle of the lake, they discovered the plastic decoy which had been left there by fishermen to scare away other birds. Turns out, they didn’t need to stick their necks out at all!
