This belly dancer just shimmied herself out of a hefty settlement! Three years ago, New Yorker Dorothy McGurk was awarded $850 a month for life in spousal support after she convinced a court she was too injured to work. But her ex-husband, Brian McGurk, took her back to court recently after discovering her blog where she boasted dancing “every day for three years.” The 43-year-old even included pictures of herself gettin’ her groove on. "My belly dancing is the reason why I adore myself so much," she wrote. When confronted with her lies on the stand, Dorothy claimed her doctor had prescribed the belly dancing to help with her injuries – a claim her doctor outright denied. The court sided with Brian this time and Dorothy was stripped of her settlement and ordered to pay her ex-husband $5,000 plus interest for lawyer's fees. She may have lied, but the hips never do!
