When it comes to Facebook, when will we ever learn?  Fact Check, Fact Check, Fact Check!

The latest piece of Facebook 'FAKE' News is a Post that is sweeping across social media:

This post took off on Facebook over the weekend and is being shared at an extremely rapid pace.  Unfortunately for all of those hoping to push their political view on the subject matter, this is false information.

For anyone wanting to check (and you should always check, before you forward or share this stuff) you can view the entire NFL Rule Book - Here.  But you won't find much dealing with pregame other than players must be on the field 10 minutes prior to the start of the game.  Nor anything dealing with the actual National Anthem itself.

But it still remains that no one is really talking about WHY this is happening?  This weekend's firestorm on social media began when the President made disparaging remarks towards NFL Players who choose to kneel during the playing of the National Anthem. But this symbolic protest is really about social injustice and goes way further than being about what the President had to say.

This post is not intended to spark a debate as to if kneeling during the anthem is wrong or right, but rather to squash the idea that there is an NFL rule prohibiting players from making said protests before games.
