Couple Joins Wyoming Army National Guard Together On Valentine’s Day
Most couples spent Valentine's Day on a date, like dinner or a movie. One Wyoming couple went above and beyond though. Enter Reid Golike and Paulitta Wilson.
On Valentine's Day 2019, the happy couple took their oaths in Denver at the Military Entrance Processing Station.
Reid and Paulitta are newlyweds The couple married in December 2018. Reid is prior service. The couple’s original plan had been for Reid to join the Guard after finishing four years of service with the U.S. Marine Corps. After learning about the opportunities in healthcare, Paulitta also decided to join.
Paulitta stated to WyoMilitary.wyo.gov:
“I think it is a really good opportunity to build a foundation for our family and contribute to the country.”
