Cheyenne Police Seek Armed Robber

The Cheyenne Police Department is seeking the public's help in its investigation into a Saturday night armed robbery.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says police were called to the Dollar Tree at 5116 Frontier Mall Drive around 9 p.m.

"The suspect entered the store and demanded money from the clerk while displaying a pistol," said Malatesta. "The suspect was successful in taking money from the business and nobody was harmed during the encounter."

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 50's, standing approximately 6'0" tall and weighing about 275 pounds. He's also described as having short gray hair, a mustache and blue eyes.
