A Casper woman on Monday entered into a plea deal with prosecutors for her alleged involvement in a methamphetamine conspiracy.

Vanessa Jessica Saputra pleaded guilty to three counts of delivery of methamphetamine before Judge Kerri M. Johnson in Natrona County District Court. As a part of the deal, she is expected to forego a six to 10-year prison sentence and instead serve three years of supervised probation.

As a part of the plea agreement, prosecutors dropped a conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine charge.

According to an arrest affidavit, Saputra sold methamphetamine to an undercover Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation agent in September 2017. They interviewed her the next month and she said Cindy Williams would sell or her front her methamphetamine in one-ounce quantities at $300 per ounce.

Williams was sentenced to federal court in October for her involvement in the drug ring, receiving 10 years in federal prison followed by a five-year supervised release. William Floyd Hassock also received a 10-year sentence with a five-year probation period to follow.

Michael Andrew Brisson received 12-year, seven-month prison sentence for his involvement.

During the investigation, DCI agents learned Cindy Williams would purchase large amounts of methamphetamine in Denver and redistribute it in Casper and Cheyenne.

On Dec. 26, 2017, law enforcement learned Cindy Williams had $13,000 to buy roughly 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine from Gasca-Nieto. Later that day, agents saw Cindy Williams and Michael Williams drive to parking lots at two east Casper fast food restaurants where they appeared to exchange money and drugs.

Law enforcement agents then moved to arrest them.
