Welsh metal band Bullet For My Valentine will return to the studio with producer Don Gilmore (Good Charlotte, Linkin Park) for the follow-up to Fever after they wrap up their current touring schedule.

Bullet guitarist and vocalist Matt Tuck told Christina Rowatt of Soundwave TV that after playing Australia’s Soundwave Festival they would head to Japan, play some more shows with Soundwave headliners Iron Maiden, then have a little time off before Tuck heads to Los Angeles to start writing with Gilmore. “We’re gonna use Don, who worked on Fever, and just see how it goes,” Tuck said. “No pressure, no game plan. I’m just gonna go over, hang out and write some [expletive].”

Co-guitarist Michael Paget recently told Ultimate Guitar that the album was likely to contain reworkings of a few unused songs from the Fever sessions as well as other tracks in a similar vein.

Released in April 2010, Fever debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 charts and hit #1 on the Japanese album chart. The most recent video from the album, for the track “Bittersweet Memories,” was released on November 25, 2010. (via gibson.com)
