Buffalo Bill Cody Was A Hell Of A Guy!

Yesterday was Dinosaurs, today is The Buffalo Bill Museum! If you find yourself anywhere around Cody, this is a great place to visit. First of all, the staff was very friendly. Now you might think they should be right? However when you look like I do walking into a cowboy based museum can get you some looks, and sometimes some attitude. Not the case here in fact it was the opposite. For those of you who do not know who Buffalo Bill is, well....... how do you not know who Buffalo Bill is? Now on to the museum. It is not just based solely on Bill. There are exhibits on the Plains Indians, as well a collection of fire arms that would make Charleton Heston pee himself. They also have a beautiful outside garden area, and a huge area about Yellowstone with a lot of cool wildlife displays.

It may sound weird, but I love stuffed dead animals. The more the better! I spent a good three or more hours just wandering around the place enjoying some amazing historical artifacts. Now keep in mind I was taking my kids on this trip, so I was happy to see all the kid friendly "touchable" exhibits as well. All in all, Buffalo Bill Museum is a definite great addition to my Wyoming Family Road Trip!
