After falling in their Mountain West opener last week, the Wyoming Cowboys are on the road for their next two conference games.

First up is a long trip to Hawai’i to face the Rainbow Warriors. This is the Pokes’ first trip to the islands since 2014. That resulted in a 38-28 loss.

No Cowboy player that is currently on the roster was on that trip. There were a few players that were redshirting that year but didn’t go on the trip.

Wyoming is coming off a 34-14 loss to Boise State. The Cowboys are now 2-3 on the season and 0-1 in the MW. Hawai’i just won in five overtimes last Saturday, 44-41, at San Jose State. The Rainbow Warriors are 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in league games.

Cowboys’ head coach Craig Bohl addressed the media at his weekly press conference above on Monday. He talked about Wyoming’s loss to Boise State, their struggles defensively, discussed their changed schedule and looked at this week’s opponent, Hawai’i.

Wyoming departs Thursday for the Saturday night game. It starts at 10 p.m., Mountain Time.

KOWB (AM 1290) will air the game live. Coverage begins with a pregame Cowboy Talk at 8 p.m. followed by the game broadcast at 9 p.m. You can also listen online or through the KOWB app.
