I have a goal of bagging a big turkey this Spring. So far it is not going well. I have not seen many turkeys, but have had plenty of close encounters with other critters. As I am dressed head to toe in camouflage, it is not odd to witness some other forest friends frolic. But, one thing I don't want is to be "stalked" by a predator, while I am pretending to be a bush.

Predators, like bobcats, are out looking for an easy meal. When you are calling for turkeys, you are also making other animals aware that "a bird" is in the area. For a bobcat, that is like ringing a dinner bell.
