Four years ago, I took a physical for a job and found out I am colorblind. Needless to say, the employer rescinded the offer. It turned out to be the best news I ever got. A couple weeks later, my first editor called and offered me a job at the Northern Wyoming Daily News in Worland. I’ve been in love with journalism ever since. Over the past four years, I have worked at various newspapers in Wyoming, where I’ve won awards for feature writing and photography. I’m a Worland High School grad and I attended the University of Wyoming. Covering the news is something I am very passionate about and take extraordinarily seriously. When I’m not at the office, I am most likely shooting a game of pool or watching a baseball game. (Go Atlanta!) Being outside with a fly rod is something I want to get into now that I’m in Casper. It’s an exciting time to be in this line of work and I can’t wait to get to know the Casper area and its residents. If you see me out and about, don’t be a stranger. And, of course, if you have any news tips for me, shoot me an email at zach.spadt@townsquaremedia.com.
