We Wish Snopp Dogg’s Fake Nature Show ‘Plizzanet Earth’ Was a Real Thing
The late night talk show scene is lousy with fake gags, including plenty of sketches that center on fake television shows. This is fine! It’s fun even! But it’s not often that a fake late night show is so good, so strange, and so funny that we wish it were real. If only Plizzanet Earth was real.
Michael Keaton Actually Does Want to See Your Cool ‘Beetlejuice’ Tattoo
When you've been in Hollywood as long as Michael Keaton has, you've probably seen a lot of weird stuff created by fans -- a lot of signs and strange drawings and maybe a wacky letter here and there -- and although that sounds a little off-putting, Keaton is into it. At least, he's into it when your fan art is good, as was the case with a 'Beetlejuice' tattoo he spotted during a late night shoot on his upcoming 'Birdman.'
Shia LaBeouf on Punching Brad Pitt, Pulling Out His Tooth and – Of Course – His Arrest
For the better part of 2014, Shia LaBeouf's antics were the talk of the gossip world. Can we even call them just "antics"? There was an arrest and an art installation, after all. Things were just weird, okay? The actor seems to have recovered from whatever was addling him, and he recently hit the talk show circuit in support of his upcoming World War II film, 'Fury,' a tour that inevitably results in his having to talk about, well, everything.
Watch Bruce Willis’ Insane Method for Eating Corn
"Summertime! Summertime, people!" Sure, Bruce Willis. We can blame this on it being the summertime.
The actor hit 'The Late Show' last night to ... honestly, we don't even know, but eventually it devolved into Willis eating corn on the cob harmonica-style and getting absolutely covered in melted butter. It seems that Willis is a huge fan of corn -- can't get enough of it! -- and he was eager to share some corn-centric life hacks with host David Letterman.
Watch Conan O’Brien’s Touching Live Tribute to Robin Williams
During the taping of last night's 'Conan,' the heartbreaking news of Robin Williams' passing was announced. Instead of ignoring the news or saving it for tomorrow or not acknowledging it, host Conan O'Brien took it upon himself to share it with a shocked studio audience, sidekick Andy Richter, and guest Will Arnett. Still stunned and reeling from the news, the trio -- all of whom had worked with Williams in the past -- shared their thoughts on the actor and comedian.
Gary Oldman Death Supercut Proves That Gary Oldman Dies A Lot
Sure, when you think of actors who have died a lot on screen, there's probably one name that instantly comes to mind: Sean Bean. But don't let the 'Game of Thrones' actor's constant dying-off fool you, there are lots of other actors who bite it all the time. Like Gary Oldman, who is apparently in the top ten of actors who die the most on screen (who exactly is crunching these numbers?).
Some Celebrities Don’t Think Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets Are Mean Enough
'Jimmy Kimmel Live' host Jimmy Kimmel likes to have fun with his recurring "celebrities read mean tweets about themselves" segments, which always manage to be fun and strange and not too painful. Of course, if you know anything about Twitter trolls, you know that the tweets the Kimmel team picks are not nearly the meanest of the mean, they're just the right mix of rude and amusing. There are certainly much meaner tweets out there, and some celebrities actually want those.
‘The Evolution of Dad Dancing’ Is Here, and It Is Glorious
Well, this one pretty much sells itself. Jimmy Fallon unveiled a Father's Day-targeted take on his ever-popular "Evolution of Dance" on last night's 'Tonight Show,' and this one just hit it right out of the park.
Hodor From ‘Game of Thrones’ Crashes and Burns on ‘Family Feud’
HBO's smash hit 'Game of Thrones' can get pretty wordy, which is why Kristian Nairn's singular performance as Hodor ("Hodor!") is so welcome. With just a one-word vocabulary, Hodor still manages to be a fan favorite -- but that doesn't mean that his unique skills can translate to other television shows, like, oh, 'Family Feud.'
Jimmy Fallon Wants Your Weird Screengrabs for ‘The Tonight Show’
'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon has been farming out plenty of his gags lately, asking his audience to send in various funny bits as they fit certain themes. Last night, he shared a batch of loyal fan-submitted screengrabs from both the internet and television -- a selection of some strange pictures, mismatched text, and a Captcha so bizarre that its hidden message popped up (tee hee) throughout
Noted Slam Poet Samuel L. Jackson Beautifully Beats Out Tribute to ‘Boy Meets World’
Boy ... meets world.
There's absolutely no reason why this particular 'Tonight Show' skit should exist or why it should work so well or why it should be so instantly enjoyable and quotable, but alas, it is all of those things, and so much more.
No One Knows How to Spell Matthew McConaughey on Seth Meyers’ Celebrity Spelling Bee
"Not alright, not alright, not alright!" No matter how famous you may be, if your name is at all confounding, confusing, or oddly spelled, some people still might not know how to spell it -- not now, not ever. Matthew McConaughey may have just won an Oscar for Best Actor, but that doesn't mean that the average Joe can parse his last name, and Seth Meyers is out to prove that said average
