During my recent hunting trip into Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness, it was clear that I was in bear country. Signs were posted everywhere warning of grizzly bear sightings and urging people to carry bear spray. It is a un-easy feeling knowing that you are in an area that you are no longer the top of the food chain. Every corner I turned and every snap of a twig had me nervous of what cold possibly happen. Thankfully, I never had a confrontation with a griz, but one hunter in northwest Montana was not as lucky.

Hear Rory Buckallew's story about surviving a grizzly attack while archery hunting earlier this week. Thanks to the Bear Morning Country Club and KDBR in Kalispell, MT for posting their interview with Rory.
