In the aftermath of the recent shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, the multinational retail corporation stopped selling handgun and short-rifle ammunition and asked patrons to no longer open carry in all Sam's and Walmart locations.

Now Albertsons is also following suit and no longer allowing customers to open carry in each of their store locations.

The official Albertsons Companies Twitter page tweeted out the following message on the morning hours of September 7th, 2019:

We see our grocery stores as a hub in local communities & we're proud to serve our neighbors. We want our stores to feel safe & welcoming for all, so we respectfully ask customers to not openly carry firearms in our stores unless they are authorized law enforcement officers.

As Wyoming is one of the few open carry states in America, the Cowboy State populace seems to be divided on the issue.
