5 Businesses We Want To See In Casper
A couple of weeks ago, we posted a top five list of businesses that have left Casper that we wish we had back. After posting it on our Facebook page, we were flooded with suggestions for new businesses that we've never had that the general populace believes would thrive here.
1.) Apple Store
The iPhone is still the top selling smart phone in the world and there are a plethora of other Apple products that are near impossible to service locally. We have a few locally-authorized dealers, but it would be immensely more efficient to have a store in Casper, vice having to send products away or make a trip to Denver.
2.) Victoria's Secret
Casper ladies (and probably equally or more so, the men) have long time wanted the largest American retailer of women's lingerie to post up in the mall. Victoria's Secret just seems like a no-brainer. Women of all shapes, sizes and colors would flock to this store, if nothing more than to have more undergarment selections than Target, Wal-Mart or Kmart.
Again, trips to Denver and/or online shopping isn't always the best option.
3.) Chick-Fil-A
If you've never been to a Chik-fil-A, then you don't know what you're missing. Although they have a very limited menu, they do one thing and they do it well. You just can't go wrong with chicken, whether you prefer it grilled or fried. This is a franchise that Casper could realistically utilize numerous occasions. One in the mall, one on the east side and one on the west side would make everyone happy.
4.) Guitar Center
With the amount of local bands, musicians, DJs and sound engineers that reside and perform here, Guitar Center is another no-brainer. As the world's industry leader in retail musical equipment, they also give you unrivaled access to test out their inventory first hand.
We've said it before, but online shopping and Denver trips just aren't always practical.
5.) IMAX Theater
This is another example of you don't know how great it really is until you've experienced it firsthand. The short version: IMAX movies look (and sound) better. The picture quality is in a much higher resolution and speakers are placed behind the audience, as well as literally all around the theater to give a surround sound-esque experience. For the hardcore movie enthusiast, it's worth paying a few extra bucks for the quality alone.
