49 United States Senators Refuse to Approve U.N. Small Arms Treaty
49 U.S. Senators sent notice to Barack Obama that they would not support the U.N. Arms Treaty that John Kerry signed in September without the consent of the Senate.
John Kerry signed the treaty September 25 without approval from the Senate
Republicans and Democrats both signed the bottom of the bi-partisan letter that was sent to the President today. In the letter the Senators state that among the reasons that they do not support the treaty is the ambiguous and murky language in reference to what is "lawful ownership, and use of firearms among other reasons that could be opening a pandora's box of new gun control laws that will threaten lawful second amendment rights for Americans.
Take a look at the signatures at the bottom of the letter and see how your U.S. Senator feels about your second amendment rights, and if they were willing to put their names on it.
